Microsoft Windows SDK, and its predecessors Platform SDK, and .NET Framework SDK, are software development kits (SDKs) from Microsoft that contain documentation, header files, libraries, samples and tools required to develop applications for Microsoft Windows and .NET Framework.[1]Platform SDK specializes in developing applications for Windows 2000, XP and Windows Server 2003. .NET Framework SDK is dedicated to developing applications for .NET Framework 1.1 and .NET Framework 2.0. Windows SDK is the successor of the two and supports developing applications for Windows XP and later, as well as .NET Framework 3.0 and later.[2]
Features[edit]

A guide to get a Windows Mobile Professional dev environment up and running for those who cannot acquire Visual Studio. Every now and then, the question resurfaces in MSDN Support Forums on the minimal toolset for developing for Windows Mobile. Sometimes, the inquiring person cannot afford the best. This documentation describes the Microsoft Windows Movie Maker 6.0 and Microsoft Windows DVD Maker 1.0 Software Development Kit (SDK). The Windows Movie Maker and Windows DVD Maker SDK is designed to help developers create and add their own custom special effects and transitions to Windows Movie Maker in Windows Vista, and their own custom. Windows Mobile Device Center always shows not connected. I frequently see a USB Device not Recognized message when plugging in the mobile device. It appears to me that while VS 2008 with Windows Mobile 6 is compatible with Windows 10 the problem with connecting to a Windows Mobile device makes it unusable.
Platform SDK is the successor of the original Microsoft Windows SDK for Windows 3.1x and Microsoft Win32 SDK for Windows 9x. It was released in 1999 and is the oldest SDK. Platform SDK contains compilers, tools, documentations, header files, libraries and samples needed for software development on IA-32, x64 and IA-64CPU architectures. .NET Framework SDK however, came to being with .NET Framework. Starting with Windows Vista, the Platform SDK, .NET Framework SDK, Tablet PC SDK and Windows Media SDK are replaced by a new unified kit called Windows SDK. However, the .NET Framework 1.1 SDK is not included since the .NET Framework 1.1 does not ship with Windows Vista. (Windows Media Center SDK for Windows Vista ships separately.) DirectX SDK was merged into Windows SDK with the release of Windows 8.[3]
Windows SDK allows the user to specify the components to be installed and where to install them. It integrates with Visual Studio, so that multiple copies of the components that both have are not installed; however, there are compatibility caveats if either of the two is not from the same era.[4][5] Information shown can be filtered by content, such as showing only new Windows Vista content, only .NET Framework content, or showing content for a specific language or technology.
Windows SDKs are available for free; they were once available on Microsoft Download Center but were moved to MSDN in 2012.
A developer might want to use an older SDK for a particular reason. For example, the Windows Server 2003 Platform SDK released in February 2003 was the last SDK to provide full support of Visual Studio 6.0. Some older PSDK versions can still be downloaded from the Microsoft Download center; others can be ordered on CD/DVD.[6]

This topic describes how to download, install, and use device emulators for Windows Mobile 6.x.
Installing and Using the Emulator Images
Honeywell Sdk For Windows Mobile 6.0
Download and Install the Images
- Go to Microsoft Download Center and search for 'Windows Mobile 6 emulator images.'
- Sort the search results by Released date with the most recent at the top.
- Navigate to the download page for the most recently released version of the images. It will have a title similar to 'Windows Mobile 6.x.x Emulator Images'. If it does not have 'Localized' in the title and you would like an image in a language other than English, navigate to the most recently released version that has 'Localized' in the title.
- Click the download button for the package of emulators that you need. Photoshop free download for windows 7 pc free.NoteThere are two packages of emulators for Windows Mobile 6.x: Standard Images and Professional Images. Hereafter, this topic assumes that you are installing the standard set, but the instructions are the same for the professional set: simply read 'Professional' for 'Standard' in the remainder of this topic.
- On Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, right-click the downloaded msi file and select Run as Administrator. On any other version of Windows, double-click the file. The wizard will guide you through the installation.
- On the Start menu, select All Programs and then Windows Mobile 6 SDK. If this node has a child node called Standalone Emulator Images, skip the next step and continue with the procedure Launch an Emulator. If this node does not have a child node called Standalone Emulator Images, then you will need to take the next step to re-run the installation program in repair mode.
- You repair the installation in Control Manager. The exact steps vary with the version of Windows and whether or not you are using the Classic View of Control Manager, but the essentials are the same: Highlight the package of emulator images (it will have a name similar to Windows Mobile 6 Emulator Images) on the list of installed applications and choose the Repair option (it may be called Change). The installation wizard may prompt you again to choose whether to remove or repair the installation. Again, choose repair. The wizard will guide you through the installation.

Launch an Emulator
- Launch your device-to-computer synchronization application. This will be either Microsoft ActiveSync or Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center, depending on your operating system. For more information about installing and running a synchronization application, see Setting Up Mobile Device Emulators.
- On the Start menu, select All Programs and then Windows Mobile 6 SDK | Standalone Emulator Images. Under this node, select a language and then an emulator image. The emulator will open in a window.
- If Microsoft Device Emulator manager is not open, open it in Microsoft Visual Studio or as a standalone. For more information on how to do this, see Setting Up Mobile Device Emulators. If it is already open, click the Refresh button in it.
- The Windows Mobile 6.x emulator is listed in the Device Manager as a GUID under the Others node. Right-click it and select Cradle.
- The remaining steps are almost exactly the same as those in Setting Up Mobile Device Emulators, beginning with step 5 in the procedure 'Launch an Emulator'. The one difference is that the Synchronization Setup Wizard will prompt you whether to allow wireless connections to your device while it is connected to the computer. Choose to disable this option.
Navigate to a Page
- Use the emulator’s UI to launch a browser, such as Internet Explorer. Malayalam free movies online.com.
- Navigate to the page you want to test. For a page on a SharePoint Web site, you normally navigate to the same URL as you would on a computer client. The runtime detects that you are using a mobile device and automatically redirects you to the mobile version of the page. If the page is a Web Parts page, any Web Part with a mobile adapter will be rendered by the adapter.
